Patch-through calls for legislative advocacy lobbying

Patch-Through Calls

Patch-through calls are an effective tool for issue advocacy and grassroots campaigns, as they increase the pressure on key decision-makers and show them that their constituents care about what’s happening at the state house.  They work by calling your prospective supporters, educating them on your issue, and asking them to press a button to be patched through to their elected representatives. This way, they can directly voice their support or opposition to a particular piece of legislation.

When all the chips are down before a legislative hearing, floor vote, or override vote, patch-trough calls allow you to identify constituents of key decision-makers, educate them on your issue, and place a phone call to advance or stop a bill.
